The staff at Fitzgerald’s Fine Catering has learned over the years that most everyone who plans a party with us has some very specific ideas about what kinds of foods they want served. Whether it is for an elaborate wedding or a simple baby shower, there are foods that simply must be provided. Either because of a certain ethnic background or simply a family tradition, special dishes often need to be prepared for that special day. This is why Fitzgerald’s does not lock in its’ clientele to a fixed number of menu choices. We make every effort to personalize the menu for your party.

FIVE stars is just not enough for Nicholas Shope and his team at Fitzgerald Fine Catering. From start to finish, they went above and BEYOND for our wedding. I mean it when I say Nick is truly such a great person. He's the person who urged me to actually decide on a wedding date when I was up in the air with different options. The tasting with him and Jonathon was not only delicious, but it was fun (pictured)! He's so generous. He doesn't force you to buy his bar package, but he provides his bartenders regardless. He doesn't charge any silly fees, for example a cake-cutting fee, like venues do. He provides way more selections of passed hors d'oeuvres than any venue I've ever inquired with. He provides all linens. He set up all the napkins with the napkin rings I bought as décor. He purposefully cooks so much food that you could never run out and you go home with plenty of leftovers. Above all, the food is TO-DIE-FOR!!!!!!!!!!!! Our guests were so impressed with the food AND the professionalism of the Fitzgerald staff. They were all such lovely people! Believe it or not, Nick was way more organized and experienced with backyard weddings than both of my tent/rentals company and wedding planner — we actually hired him without inquiring with other wedding caterers because his confidence in his work and team was almost palpable. During the planning process, my husband and I would always say that our catering team was our one vendor that we didn't need to worry about. He was, by far, our best vendor and would recommend him for any event! If I need to convince you any further... we had a strange happening where a mystery person took all of our wedding leftovers. As a result, Nick went out of his way to REMAKE us an incredible amount of food for us to have as "leftovers." We're talking multiple dinner parties worth of food. He didn't have to do that at ALL, but he gladly did so. My whole family has been dreaming about the food since the wedding. Thank God we were able to have it again!! I want to shout my love for Fitzgerald's Fine Catering from the rooftops. Thank you, Nick and team!!!!

Fitzgerald Catering catered our wedding in April 2023 at the Stamford Museum and Nature Center Farmhouse. Nicholas was great at communicating leading up to the event and flexible and accommodating for dietary restrictions. We had an all vegan/vegetarian buffet and we had multiple guests (meat eaters) compliment the food - it was such a hit! They took care of all the linens and cutlery too - nothing to worry about! Thank you to the entire team for the wonderful catering of our wedding reception food and bar. We received multiple compliments on the bar service as well! We definitely recommend Fitzgerald Catering for a fair price, delicious food, and reliable service!

Fitzgerald Catering just catered my 9/10/22 wedding at Penfield Pavilion and they absolutely crushed it. Working with Nicholas was incredible. He made the whole process so seamless and easy which during hectic wedding planning is really appreciated. He was always super responsive whenever I called/e-mailed him. The second you meet him you can just see his confidence and that he knows what he's doing! I didn't worry for a minute. My wedding was in the afternoon and the venue actually had a morning wedding so they couldn't come set up until 5:00 and the wedding started at 5:30. Anyone else would have been naturally nervous, but Nicholas assured me they'd make it happen.....and they did just that. I walked into my venue at 5:30 and it looked gorgeous. My guests complimented the cocktail hour and dinner all night. The drinks at the bar were flowing and it couldn't have turned out to be a better night! The quality of food and service that you get with Fitzgerald Catering is incredible and for such an unbeatable price. I highly recommend them for your next catered event!

After choosing to have our wedding at a family members residence in Westport CT, We knew one of the most essential components was finding a caterer . In the craziness of interviewing 10+ caterers, reviewing menus, and choosing who we wanted to work with for our special day, it was no doubt that Fitzgerald Fine Catering stood out. Not only did they offer honest and reasonable prices , they also eased the stress by providing waiters, staff, linens, and dish ware, which we would have had to seek out separately. Nick was one of the first venders we chose , and gave us constant advice the entire time on hosting a wedding in a backyard with 150 people. Nick was responsive, patient, and kind whenever I reached out with questions relating to the wedding. Nick offered many options for food, including anything extra that we wanted such as providing warm hot pretzels for our guests at the end of the night as a favor, and providing our signature drinks ! On the day of the actual wedding I was so worried I wouldn’t get a chance to eat so the staff brought me constant samples to try, and good thing because the food was amazing! Nick made it a point to come to the house to do a walk through, making sure everything was ready, and decorated the tables just as how we envisioned. I had every guest at our wedding tell me how much they really enjoyed the buffet style food, because they wanted to keep having seconds. The best part of the wedding was that we got to take home most of the leftovers and eat it for the next few days. From the chicken francese to the pesto tortellini, we loved every bite! We will definitely recommend Nick and his crew to anyone who asks, and have nothing but great things to say from start to finish ! Thank you for making our wedding day so special!

Nick and his team are the best! They did an incredible job catering our wedding at Lighthouse Point Park. The food was delicious and served to our 120+ guests (buffet-style) super quickly, and the bartenders made sure there was never a line for drinks. The staff were very attentive to me and my husband and made sure we got to eat and drink plenty. Most importantly, Nick made us feel at ease throughout the whole process as he and his team are super professional and experienced. We felt so relaxed on our wedding day knowing the food, drinks, set-up and service were in great hands, and just got to enjoy it!

I hired Fitzgerald’s for my wedding last month and they were amazing! We did surf & turf lobster & steak and have gotten SO many compliments from our guests! All of the sides and appetizers were delicious as well! The staff at Fitzgerald’s is also the best. They set up our tables & chairs for the reception and helped with taking down the tables & chairs too (not in the job description, just above & beyond service from them.) Nick, the owner, worked with us throughout the whole process of planning and put our minds at ease. Our maitre’d on the night of kept an eye out for my husband and I making sure we got some of the appetizers since we missed most of cocktail hour for photos. They kept everything on schedule and made the day one we will never forget! Plus they were so reasonably priced since they own of all their supplies. Highly highly recommend!!!
