With so many beautiful wedding venues in Connecticut it can be a very difficult and time consuming task to choose the venue that is most suitable to host your wedding reception. Fitzgerald’s Fine Catering has worked with countless wedding venues throughout Connecticut. We have decided to showcase our favorite wedding venues across Connecticut and pay tribute to one venue each month. This month we will be paying tribute to Lighthouse Point in New Haven, CT.
Lighthouse Point in New Haven is widely known for its beautiful location on the Long Island Sound and providing soothing sea breezes as well as breathtaking ocean views. It is considered a historical building and will provide plenty of space for your wedding reception. The property also includes a historic lighthouse, beaches, and a unique carousel which was built in 1916 and restored to its current state of magnificence in the 1980’s.
At one of our recent events at Lighthouse Point the wedding planner was telling us how excited she was about all of the capabilities of the property and all of the options that the open space allowed her to have. We recall the wedding party having a great evening of listening to music and dancing on the enormous dance floor that the facility offered.
With hundreds of wedding venues to choose from in the Connecticut area, deciding where to hold your event will likely be one of the most difficult decisions of your entire planning process.
