Located in Fairfield, Connecticut, Penfield Pavilion is a wedding reception and special event facility, which is located directly on the Penfield Beach and overlooking the Long Island Sound. Penfield Pavilion has been closed for repairs since Superstorm Sandy swept up the coast and caused tremendous damage to the structure of the facility. After a few years of discussions and preparations, construction was finally underway in 2016 to repair the structure and it is slated to open very shortly.
Fairifeld town officials originally believed that the repair costs would be in the range of a million dollars. However, the extensive damages to the footings of the structure where far worse than originally estimated. These damages, combined with the extensive remodeling upgrades to the original layout and structure, put the restoration project at over seven million dollars.
The Penfield Pavilion has always been one of our favorite Connecticut wedding reception halls, so we are very excited for it’s grand re-opening this Spring. Fitzgerald’s Fine Catering has already been booked for several wedding party receptions this summer at this beautiful waterfront wedding hall, and we look forward to providing our high quality and affordable Connecticut wedding catering services here this year and for many years to come!
The facility can cater to parties of up to 175 indoor guests, and during the warmer months of the year, outdoor seating is available, which will extend it’s capacity to up to 225 guests. The renovations and upgrades will feature a gorgeous and spacious banquet hall, and a modern commercial kitchen with the most modern amenities. We are certain that these upgrades, combined with an amazing beach front location in Fairfield, will make Penfield Pavilion one of the premier wedding reception facilities in the state of Connecticut.
